What is your attendance/makeup policy?

• All lesson cancellations/rescheduling require at least a 24 hour notice! 
• In order to manage the school properly and to retain our top quality faculty, EWMS has to maintain a reasonable cancellation policy. Teachers have booked their professional time and turned down other work for the privilege of teaching at our school. Therefore, EWMS offers only two make-up lessons per 3 month period or one make-up lesson per 1 month period  (same day cancellations and no shows will be charged as a lesson!)



Do I need an instrument for my first lesson?

No, you will not need a lesson for the first lesson. The first lesson is used as introduction to music, music theory, as well as to a particular instrument. Your teacher and a member of our staff will discuss the school's instrument purchase/rental programs as well as the size of the instrument that you will need.

Where can I get books for my music lessons?

All books should be purchased at the school at the recommendation of the teacher.

Where can I get strings, rosin or other accesories for my instrument?

All accessories can be purchased at the school at the recommendation of the teacher.
