Guitarist and composer Takenori “Take” Nishiuchi is a native in Hyogo, Japan born in December 5, 1980. He began playing the guitar at
the age of 13 after he became influenced by American music, particularly Rock, Blues and Jazz.
Take received his formal music education at his native country, graduating from the A.N. Music School and in 2007 came to the U.S. to
further his musical studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he later earned his degree at 2010.
As a highly sought-after performer, Take has collaborated with numerous bands and highly acclaimed performers such as the Rainbow Band,
the Honshuku trio, Vudoo soul, Afro D among many others. He has performed at venues such as the ABC Hall and Chibori Park in Japan, BPC Hall, Berklee recital hall, in Boston, MA., Boston College,
Harvard University and more where his performances were well-received by enthusiastic audiences.
Equally at home in the classroom and on stage, Take has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and continues to inspire students
both young and the young at heart.
