BoChao Liu

          Bochao Liu was born in Harbin city, Heilongjiang province, China. He started learning violin at 8 years old and at ten years old won the second prize of the Heilongjiang Violin Competition.

          In the 1999, Bo Chao was accepted to the Tianjin music institute accessorial middle school as a top candidate and was awarded a full scholarship to study with professor Gao Lianfa.

          During the year 2006, Bo Chao was accepted simultaneously to the Tianjin music college and the central conservatory of music. He went on to study with the famous violinist/Chai Liang professor, director of the violin department and research department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Soon after, he was admitted to the China youth symphony orchestra, and served as the concert master of autumn music season. In 2008, he became Chai Liang professor's assistant, and was awarded the top prize for Central Conservatory of Music’s first sonata competition. He also held a highly successful recital at the conservatory the following year.

Bochao has about 6 years of teaching experience at middle school and college level in his native China, and worked at the orchestra of central political department of china one year after he graduated from college..

          In year 2011, Bo Chao was admitted to the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York as a Master of Music candidate. The school waived his need to audition due to his astounding achievements. He currently studies with the Russian master violinist Isaac Malkin. Bo Chao was awarded his Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music in 2013. He currently teaches at East-West Music Studio right now.
